The Orders section in Checkify+ brings together data from your payment processor and your customers' actual purchases.
During busy sales periods, especially when order volume is high, it is crucial to align and double-check data for accuracy and analytical insights regularly. Checkify+ simplifies this process by presenting the order data in a user-friendly table format within its admin interface.
1. Columns overview
The completed orders are presented in the table mode with newest on the top. Click the arrow next to any column name to sort if needed.
In the event of an incomplete (abandoned) checkout, it can be viewed under the 'Abandoned Checkouts' tab.
1. Order ID
Displays the order number by Checkify+. Go to Settings > Business Preferences, then scroll down to the ‘Prefix’ section to customize how your order IDs appear.
2. Date
Shows the date and time the order was created. Note that the current format is YYYY-MM-DD (as per ISO 8601 international standard).
3. Email
Customer email as entered on the checkout page.
4. Phone
Customer phone number as entered on the checkout page.
5. Payment ID
The unique transaction identifier from the payment processor (gateway).
6. Payment method
An indication of the payment method used for completing (placing) the order
7. Payment status
Depending on the situation, the payment status may be pending, paid, refunded or partially refunded.
8. Total revenue
Displays the order value in the checkout currency.
The currency on the checkout page may differ from the account's default currency, as Checkify+ supports and provides multi-currency functionality.
9. View icon
Clicking this icon or the corresponding order row opens the order confirmation (thank you) page. In order to get a detailed order view in a right-side slider within the admin interface, simply click on the appropriate row.
2. Order details overview
Checkify+ admin contains a lot of relevant and useful data for every order.
This view has:
An indication of payment and fulfillment statuses.
Date and time of placing the order.
Checkify+ order number.
Order confirmation (thank you page) URL: It can be copied. Once pasted in browser address line, it redirects to the page seen by the buyer after the successful purchase.
Basket: Displays the items on the checkout. Includes quantities and variants, if available.
Checkout offers: Lists any additional options offered to buyer at the checkout.
Prices: A break-down the order's total amount, which may include: subtotal, discounts, shipping rates, tips, checkout offers, and taxes, if applicable. All the values are shown in the checkout page's currency.
A message from buyer, UTMs, cart message (if available). Equivalent to Shopify's Order notes.
Shipping details: Delivery and contact information as entered by the buyer.
Payment details: Shows the payment processor used and the unique transaction ID, which can be copied with one click.
The order can be refunded by pressing the appropriate button. It can be a partial or a full refund, depending on the situation.
A JSON file is available for downloads, which may be useful for sharing the transaction information with other systems. For example, third-party accounting software.
If a manual payment method (such as cash on delivery) is used to place the order, it is important to mark the order as paid only after the transaction has been confirmed. For example, this could be after receiving a payment from the customer through another method or a third-party service outside of Checkify+.
Marketing: Indicates the customer's consent to receive future marketing and promotional communications.
Tracking number: If you are dealing with physical goods, complete the tracking section of the order by entering and saving the tracking number (required) and / or the link to fulfill the order.
